Participating in the census is in everyone's best interest because the information on the forms is used by decision-makers to determine which communities, schools, hospitals and roads need federal funding.

The U.S. Congress also uses the census totals to determine how many seats a state will have in the U.S. House of Representatives. In addition, states use the numbers to allocate seats in their law-making bodies.

An excellent way to help elect Democrats nationwide is to get set-up to do postcard writing from home. You can sign up to write and send postcards while at home during this healthcare emergency. The website is postcardstovoters.org and this can be very therapeutic.
JOIN A VIRTUAL LETTER WRITING PARTY WITH SWING LEFT
These take place on Saturdays from 2 - 4 p.m. Hosted by a Swing Left organizer and all instructions are given while you socialize with other people via video chat on Zoom that are also writing letters.
